The Guild of MCCI exhibition and fair organizations has held Its annual meeting at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, located at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. The Guild comprises about 80 organizations dealing in the exhibition industry. Leonid Govorov, Chairman of the Guild, said the meeting at the ECC might be a turning point of the entire Moscow’s exhibition industry development. Mr. Govorov was followed by Yvgeny Balashov, Head of the Moscow Science, Industrial Policy, and Entrepreneurship Department, Yuri Kotov, Chairman of the Board of MCCI and other distinguished figures of the exhibition industry. In conclusion, Andrei Lapshin, Director General of the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre took the floor and told the guests about the improved infrastructure of the complex, new pavilions and innovative approach to organizing the largest trade shows and conferences.
