If when strolling along the paths of Sokolniki Park in the first decade of December you will suddenly hear exclamations of admiration and see crowds of people outside the Pavilion 7 entrance, do not be afraid. It will only signify that numerous appeals of Moscow citizens to hold the International Exhibition of Calligraphy in Moscow were heard and answered by the organizers of the project.
In two months’ time a pavilion, specially erected for the Project will become an all-Russian place of pilgrimage for lovers of the art of beautiful handwriting for five days. Considering the way the exhibition was treated in St. Petersburg, we can say for sure that the forum is doomed to immense success.
The fact that the International Exhibition of Calligraphy has not become a one-time event but on the contrary is growing very fast testifies to its relevance and demand in modern Russia.
