The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy on air

Last Thursday, January 19th representatives of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy were on air at Vse Svoi show of the Radio Moskvy radio station.

It’s not the first time the show hosts Natalya Lisitsyna and Dmitry Morozov invite Museum representatives to the studio: last time our teacher Artyom Lebedev held an improvised practical calligraphy lesson by the mike. This time there were no scratching of the paper, instead we spoke about such topical issues as the past of calligraphy and its present, the importance of teaching fine writing at school for proper education of children. We also discussed the best instruments for trying your hand at calligraphy, and why the 6th International Exhibition of Calligraphy scheduled for September 2017 is a must visit.
