Playing With The Surf In The Sea Of Ink exhibition of works by a Chinese calligrapher Wang Lianghu will be opened in the Chinese Cultural Center in Moscow at 7 pm on October 14th. The exhibition is organized within the framework of the 65th anniversary of the diplomatic relations establishment between China and Russia.
Mr. Wang Lianghu can write with various calligraphy styles, but he is the best at caoshu (cursive style) and banshu (large hieroglyphic font for signboards). Through calligraphy Wang Lianghu aims to uncover the Russian visitors of the exhibition a special aesthetics of hieroglyphic writing, a spiritual content hidden in the signs.
The exhibition will feature 30 calligraphy works of the author. Each of the pieces has a part of his soul in it.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from October 14th – 20th, during the Chinese Cultural Center working hours (Mon-Fri, 9:00 – 12:30, and 15:00 – 18:00). Pre-registration is not required.
Mr. Wang Lianghu will hold a lecture titled My Understanding of Chinese Calligraphy and Practice in This Field at 19:00 on October 15th in the Chinese Cultural Center.
