Master class from Israeli calligraphers: the best to the children
On May 15th, Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre hosted the presentation of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy featuring the famous Israeli calligraphers Avraham Borshevsky and Izzy Pludwinski conducting ninety-minute-long master class.
It attracted children aging from 7 to 13 and their teachers from Moscow Jewish schools. The prominent calligraphers told them about the history of Israeli calligraphy, its laws, peculiarities, and nuances. The masters created several calligraphic works on a large white sheet of paper, which was later granted to one of the Moscow schools. After the master class was finished the children were given some souvenirs and then they watched the laser show and visited the exhibition.
The teachers thanked the calligraphers and Sokolniki MEC for the invitation and organization of the event and wished to participate in other Sokolniki MEC projects as well.
