Lettering workshop

On Sunday 17.01.2016 the Contemporary Museum Of Calligraphy hosted a workshop on lettering conducted by Artyom Lebedev, teacher of the National School of Calligraphy and member of the National Union of Calligraphers.

During the workshop Artyom Lebedev described and demonstrated the difference between calligraphy and lettering, showed the component elements of a letter and explained how to master elements that help create thematic script compositions. The teacher also showed how to draw a greeting card and made the students try it. Under his guidance the participants created an original greeting card for the approaching spring holidays.

After the workshop everyone willing could enroll for the lettering course at the National School of Calligraphy. The course starts in March of 2016.
