On Sunday, November 11, the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy will host a series of new workshops by famous calligraphers. The master classes are organized within the framework of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy, which opens its exposition for everyone up to December 15 inclusive.
A special workshop for children is to start at 11.00 a.m. Nina Kozubova, one of the teachers at the National School of Calligraphy will tell the youngsters about the plasticity of letters in Russian Cyrillic cursive handwriting as well as about writing letters with a brush.
At 12.30 p.m. calligrapher Artyom Lebedev will show how simple letters can be turned into beautiful drop caps and ornamental compositions.
At 2.30 p.m. Larisa Drygval, one of the most sought-after graphologists in Russia will start her highly anticipated seminar. Listeners at her workshops traditionally get the most up-to-date knowledge of the graphoanalysis, and have a chance to feel like real professionals in handwriting reading. Participants will analyze different handwritings themselves, including those of famous people, learning many of their secrets.
