Final workshops at the International Exhibition of Calligraphy

This Sunday the Contemporary museum of calligraphy held the final series of workshops in 2012 within the International Exhibition of Calligraphy. Experts in the art of beautiful writing spoke before the guests.

Andrei Sannikov conducted a master class on the calligraphy of the Ostromir Gospels; Dmitry Petrovsky told the audience about the historic broad nib pen calligraphy, whereas Yuri Koverdyayev demonstrated the technique of pointed nib pen calligraphy. Visitors to the Museum swarmed all the seats during the whole workshop day.

We’d like to remind you that the International Exhibition of Calligraphy ends this week. The exposition is open to the public until December 15.
