An exhibition of the Quran, which demonstrates unique copies of the Holy Scripture of the Muslims, opened in Qatif, Saudi Arabia.
Thus, among the exhibits there are: a 10 kg Quran, an 8-meter high Quran and one of the copies was written over 700 years ago. Some samples are translations of the main Islamic book into different languages, including the font of Louis Braille.
Moreover, visitors of the exhibition in Qatif have the opportunity to see pieces of calligraphy, as well as a variety of historical objects and jewellery decorated with verses from the Quran. What is more, a separate section of the exhibition is dedicated to the restoration and conservation of ancient copies of the Quran.
