A sculptor from America was overwhelmed by the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy

Brittney Klinkenburg, a young sculptor from America visited the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy this week. A graduate of the University of Texas highly rated the exposition and the style of the decoration of the museum’s space , paying particular attention to the well thought-out details. Brittney was impressed with the solid collection of the world’s calligraphy masterpieces.

The sculptor remarked that the museum’s achievements made in such a short period of time (it has only operated since 2008) are a real success. Brittney Klinkenburg saw a handwritten Inauguration Speech and Oath of the President of the Russian Federation D. A. Medvedev, which was executed by Artyom Lebedev, curator of the National School of Calligraphy, and she also had a look at the works by Yuri Koverdyayev made on birch bark. Denis Tsukanov, Head of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre press service and Cameron Devall, Head of Teaching and Translation conducted the tour of the museum for the guest.
