The 22 ton, 500 square metre Mega Canvas by Lekim Ibragimov has already conquered the better part of Europe. At last, the painting is coming back to its motherland, Uzbekistan. Installation works will take 4 days, 2500 metres of steel rope are required to mount the Angels.
Its most impressive scale is not the main asset of the chef d’oeuvre — each of the 1000 paintings has a separate composition and subject, executed in vivid calligraphy.
