The Chinese Cultural Centre in Moscow held an exhibition of Chinese calligraphy and painting on June 21 named “Shining of Mountains and Rivers, Friendship for Centuries.” The event was designed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between China and Russia, and involved the Ambassador of China to Russia Li Hui, and Deputy Chairman of the Federal State Duma Committee on Education and Science Lyubov Dukhanina. The Chinese ambassador noted in his speech that opening of the exhibition as a part of the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between China and Russia, presented a platform for Russia to understand Chinese tradition and culture.
