Kaori Ishijima. Workshop: Japanese calligraphy

Saturday, September 9th, Japanese master Каори Исидзима (Kaori Ishijima) will hold a practical workshop on Japanese calligraphy. Kaori studied the art in Japan over 20 years, and since 2009 she has been teaching it in Moscow, Russia. At the workshop, she will explain the principles of brush calligraphy, introduce the basic elements of Japanese characters, and show how to write the 和 hieroglyph meaning “Japan”.
