Pen vs Keyboard
There are several reasons for a modern man to get interested in calligraphy. Firstly, the office prisoners, glued to the screen and keyboard at work and at home would find using a pen for a change, remembering (or discovering) the long-forgotten feel of it, quite refreshing. Secondly, in the rough sea of business plans and expiring deadlines calligraphy emerges as a fairy No Hurry island. The Moscow News (Moskovskie Novosti, newspaper) interrogated renowned calligrapher to find out where you can learn this rare art and what good it does.

The Art of Beautiful Handwriting
The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Sokolniki Park held the opening of the 4th International Exhibition of Calligraphy, the world’s largest project dedicated to the art of beautiful handwriting.

The International Exhibition of Calligraphy
The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy in Sokolniki Park is highlighting a handwritten copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Decalogue (published by Rare Book PH, the text of the Ten Commandments is printed manually on a 19th century press), Calligraphy on a Wing of a Fly miniature, etc. Within the forty-five days of the Fixed Event Period, the display will be completely reloaded, European exhibits gradually giving way to Oriental masterpieces.
